If you’re a fan of NBC’s hit show, “The Biggest Loser,” you might have been surprised to see two new trainers hit the gym with contestants this season. We all know who Bob Harper is, but alongside him to kick some fitness butt are tennis champion, Anna Kournikova and celebrity trainer, Dolvett Quince.
What makes this match-up so interesting is their differing Chinese Animal Signs. Each trainer brings a unique approach – but which one has what it takes to propel their teams into the winning circle? Let’s take a look, shall we?
Bob Harper, Wood Snake
Well-known and well-loved Bob Harper was born in the year of the Wood Snake. With Wood as his guiding element, he has the ability to be flexible and personable with contestants. He knows how to be a team player and motivate others. As a Snake, he’s highly intelligent and capable of getting what he wants: results! He has an edge, too. With a keen intuitive sense, he can sense exactly what his contestants needs – and what will motivate, inspire, or challenge them.
Anna Kournikova, Metal Rooster
As a Metal Rooster, Anna is a force to be reckoned with. Not only is she a steely-hearted Russian, but she’s also a stern and formidable Chinese Animal! With Metal as her ruling element, her middle name is perseverance. She won’t quit, and she certainly won’t let her contestants give up the fight. As a Rooster, she’s also a perfectionist. She knows what it takes to get results, and she won’t settle for less.
Dolvett Quince, Water Ox
And then we have Dolvett Quince. He’s an Ox – need we say more?! Oxen simply can’t be beat. They may not be fast or get results first, but they will win in the end. His “slow and steady wins the race” mentality might just launch his team to the top. With Water as his ruling element, Dolvett has excellent communication skills. He’s a good listener, motivator, and friend to his contestants.
So who is TV’s toughest trainer? Perhaps it remains to be seen. With these three beasts on the scene, there’s no telling what might happen at the end of the “Biggest Loser” season this year.
