Stumped on what to get a friend, co-worker, or family member for her wedding? Look no further than her Chinese Animal sign. Here are some traditional (and unique!) ideas for the perfect present.

Rat.  It’s kind of a no-brainer, but a Rat gal would love some cash! It’s rude for a couple to ask for money, but it’s not rude to give it. Frugal Rat will appreciate the nod toward a comfy honeymoon or first year of marriage. 

Ox. A bottle of fine wine or liquor will go over well with any Ox girl. She’ll appreciate the sentiment, especially if you include a note about how the couple can only drink it on their 5- or 10-year wedding anniversary.

Monkey. With the happy-go-lucky Monkey, you can’t go wrong with a set of classic board games. Give the new couple a stash of fun party games they can play when they host dinners and events in their place. 

Rooster. Practical Rooster gal would die for a paid housecleaner! What better gift to give to a new couple than someone to make their home sparkle and shine. Buy them a few months of cleanliness and you’ll be a friend for life.
