So here we are at the race track. The starter’s gun sounds. The Year of the Horse has begun. Gates open and 12 riders begin their lap around the track. Some horses explode out of the gate. Some less so. Some cause a fuss and for a moment look like they don’t want to race at all. How about your horse?
In gate 1, wearing the light blue colors, is the Rat.
Er… Having a problem with your horse. A late start out the gate leaves you at the back of the pack. I peg your chances of winning at about 34%. I wouldn’t race up to run with the leaders. You could end up like a “rabbit.” In a human race that’s someone who rushes out front, leads in the early part of the race, and fades badly in the end. Here’s how to make the best of that 34%. Join the Horse when it comes to fun and self improvement. Get in shape, participate in a sport, spend time outdoors, and party. Avoid major life changes, new investments, taking risks, and worrying about your love life. For now relationships may be more about fun than commitment.
In gate 2, wearing the violet colors, is the Ox.
Hmm. Did I see your horse stumble coming out of the gate? You’re already at the back of the pack. Looks like your chances of winning are about 35%. This track is fast, and the race is short – not your style. My advice; don’t fight it. Pace yourself, and get ready to race another day. Don’t’ get me wrong. Some things can be really good for you. Ever been into bodybuilding? Clubbing? Running off to the great outdoors? There’s fun to be had. And self improvement. I’m talking more about your body than your finances or love life. Try to make changes in them and… Well, that’s where the 65% against you comes in. Save that stuff for a luckier time.
In gate 3, wearing the kelly green colors, is the Tiger.
Wow. That explosion out of the gate gives your horse a 72% chance of crossing the finish line first. Lucky you. Fun. Adventure. Romance. Yours for the taking. A fast and furious pace – just to your liking. But do take an occasional break. And how about a little moderation? You don’t have to take on five biggies at once. Or, take one chance after another. I think you get the picture. You could make some extra money this year. You could do something big at work, especially if you’re a performing artist or athlete. But your best bet may be heading off on the vacation of a lifetime. The Himalayas. An African Safari. The Great Wall. Angkor Wat.
