Feeling burnt out or overwhelmed? Then stop what you’re doing. Take a deep breath. And read on. I’ve put together some tips on how to unwind during Rabbit Month!
1) Pamper yourself. Yep, I’ve given you the go ahead. You’ve got my permission. Take a day off. Do something you love. Get a massage. Rabbit’s all about indulging. I think you’re worth it. Don’t you?
2) Get present. Thinking about what you have to do tomorrow? And what could happen next week? Time to quit all that future tripping. Rabbit’s a bit of a worrier. So get back in the moment. You know, where none of that stuff you’re thinking about is actually happening!
3) No more multitasking. Doing multiple things at a time leaves us frantic. Hard to get grounded that way, right? So turn off the TV. And take the time to savor your dinner instead. Rabbit’s all about slowing things down. So why not try the same? One thing at a time. Calm is just around the corner!
4) Organize. Get files for all those loose papers. Get a calendar for your busy schedule. Knowing where and when things are is bound to help you breathe easier. Go on, let out a sigh of relief. You’ve got this!
5) Express yourself. Holding onto some feelings? Let ‘em out. Rabbit is a pro at bottling up their emotions. But let me tell you. It just ends up draining them even more. After all, it’s a lot of work keeping things under wraps. So be your truest self. Free up that energy to do the things you love instead.
6) Move your body. Ready to plop down on the couch and zone out for a couple hours? Nothing wrong with that. But if you want to feel rejuvenated, get in touch with your body. Take a brisk walk. Dance. Take a yoga class. I feel better just thinking about it! What about you?
7) Connect with others. Think you can’t handle everything? Might be time to call a friend. Rabbit is all about lending a hand. Joining together to overcome obstacles So what are you waiting for? Reach out. Sometimes hearing how someone else believes in us, helps us believe in ourselves.
Go on. Sit back and relax. Rabbit month’s here and it’s time to take a load off!
