Anthony Hopkins
December 31, 1937 Philip Anthony Hopkins Port Talbot, Wales, UKActor

Anthony Hopkins is a stage and television actor. Considered by many to be one of film's greatest living actors, he is best known for his portrayal of cannibalistic serial killer Hannibal Lecter in the 1991 blockbuster The Silence of the Lambs, its sequel, Hannibal, and its prequel, Red Dragon. His other notable film credits include The Elephant Man, Dracula, Legends of the Fall, The Remains of the Day, The Mask of Zorro, The World's Fastest Indian, Hearts in Atlantis, Nixon and Fracture. Hopkins was born and raised in Wales, and also became a U.S. citizen on 12 April 2000. He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2003 and was made a Fellow of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in 2008.

Born 31 December 1937 his primary personality traits are represented by the Chinese Zodiac elemental animal sign, the Fire OX. The Ox combines the qualities (steady, composed and tenacious) of the tortoise in the fabled race with the hare and the legendary Hercules, strength of mind and body, solid throughout. He is capable of tackling the toughest projects. He continues on towards his goals regardless of the difficulty of the obstacles put in his path, and he never loses focus. Not every Ox is a workaholic, but it is true he is generally thought of as hard working and reliable. HIs strong determination combined with Fire's impulsiveness makes him an Ox who all too often charges ahead without thinking about the (destructive) consequences. If he can control your emotions and summon up a reasonable degree of practicality, he will have the capability to do big things and will make an extremely loyal and responsible friend and family member.
