James Gandolfini
September 18, 1961 James J. Gandolfini, Jr. Westwood, New Jersey, U.S.Actor

James Gandolfini, is an American actor. He is best known for his highly acclaimed role as Tony Soprano in the hit HBO TV series The Sopranos, about a troubled crime boss struggling to balance his family life and his career in the Mafia. Gandolfini's other notable roles include pornographer Eddie Poole in 8mm, woman-beating mob enforcer Virgil in the Quentin Tarantino-written thriller True Romance, a gay hitman in The Mexican, enforcer/stuntman Bear in Get Shorty, and a martinet military prison commander in The Last Castle. He also played James Goss in Yemar on the Disney Channel. In 2007, Gandolfini produced the HBO documentary Alive Day: Home from Iraq in which he interviewed 10 injured veterans from the Iraq war.

Born September 18, 1961, his primary personality traits are represented by the Chinese Zodiac elemental animal sign, the Metal Ox. Combining Metal with Ox yields one determined person and one of the strongest signs. He can be like Atlas and carry the weight of the world on those strong Ox shoulders or the bulldozer that knocks down every obstacle. At his worst he can be extremely stubborn and insensitive. He is probably not exactly a diplomat and will have more than his fair share of personality conflicts. On the positive side, his tenacity and sense of responsibility is unmatched.
