Mariano Rivera is a Panamanian professional baseball player who has spent his entire Major League Baseball (MLB) career with the New York Yankees. Nicknamed "Mo", the right-handed Rivera has served as a relief pitcher for most of his career. His presence in the late innings of games to record the final outs has played an instrumental role in the Yankees' success, particularly the team's late 1990s dynasty. He has won five World Series championships as a Yankee.
Born November 29, 1969, his primary personality traits are represented by the Chinese Zodiac elemental animal sign, the Earth Rooster. The Earth Rooster is much less flamboyant than the rest of the species, but that is more than made up for by their exceptional practicality, reliability and attention to detail. He is a builder who builds to last. He leads by example and often bury himself in his work. As with most Roosters, he can be a biting critic. And, with his keen powers of observation and organized methodology, he will find lots to criticize.
